Crystal Spring Grocery Co. is located in the former Tinnell’s finer foods. Generations of Roanokers have come to 2205 Crystal Spring Avenue for gourmet food, wine, local specialties, pimento cheese, ham biscuits and other necessities.
For people who value good food, genuine hospitality, and local connection, Crystal Spring Grocery Co. is a neighborhood market and gathering space that offers handcrafted, seasonal meals and curated local goods. Unlike chain grocers or fast-casual spots, we create a warm, welcoming environment where convenience meets craftsmanship and community feels like home.
Our kitchen crafts house-made meals using seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and producers only a few miles down the road. Every item on our shelves is hand-picked, from wines and cheeses to meats and pantry goods, all made by people who care about what they create. It is food made with heart, meant to be shared with friends, neighbors, and anyone who walks through our doors.
